Tami R. Shkolnick, Executive Director

Tami Shkolnick joined the Schools of Banking as Executive Director in September, 2007.  She is responsible for overseeing financial operations, administration of Schools’ programs, curriculum management, staff supervision and volunteer/committee structure. Tami's prior work experience includes association management roles as the Executive Director for a Colorado association and positions in education, meetings management, and communications for two Nebraska associations.  Tami has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with majors in English, Speech Communications and Theater.  She is a member of the Nebraska Society of Association Executives and the American Society of Association Executives.

 


Heather M. Stewart, Assistant Director

Heather Stewart joined the Schools of Banking in 2000 as the Assistant Director. Heather is responsible for curriculum editing and development, as well as marketing of the Schools of Banking programs. Heather earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Master of Science degree in Leadership Education with a specialization in distance education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During college, Heather spent five years working in the banking industry. She is a graduate of Leadership Lincoln Class XIX.  She is currently working on a Ed.D. in Human Sciences with a specialization in leadership studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
 

 
Kami Murphy, Registrar/Administrative Assistant

Kami Murphy joined the Schools of Banking in 2000 and serves as the Administrative Assistant and Registrar. In this capacity, she is responsible for all registration, housing and meal arrangements. In addition, Kami serves as the Schools of Banking office administrator. Kami's prior work experience included five years in the banking industry where she worked as a teller and loan documentation clerk. She also has extensive experience working in office management and administration for various companies. Kami is a Board of Directors member of the local chapter of Little League.
